Will this RP be primarily voice-based?

"Well, Fledgling, it would certainly be a loss on our end if we couldn't hear your lovely voice at all. But fret not; the Nightingale is as respectful as they are seraphic and understands your concern. So the answer is no. Whether during the Discord tutorial sessions or the actual RP, text is still the primary method of conversation and interaction."

Will the narrative styles stay the same? Can we still be able to write long reps?

"Yes and yes-er. While navigating the Discord platform will be a new experience, you'll be free to write out your replies in ways that are familiar to you. Just keep in mind that there's a 2000 character limit per message on this platform. But we're sure you'll be able to manage that, yeah? At least it's super easy to edit and delete messages and tag people in 'em!"

I initially agreed to the possibility of having my character be killed in The Aviary. Can I change my mind as the story progresses?

"Yes. We will also be warning you of high-risk actions that may result in character death, so you can decide if you would still want to push through with them."

How much personal control do we have over our own characters, going into the RP?"

Accepted Answer

"In terms of what goes on with them in The Aviary? Tons, Fledgling. You have control over their appearance as well as the way they interact with the world. 
 
Now, when the memories of your characters start coming back, you might find that their current personality doesn't match their past personality from The World Below (since someone else would have written that part for you).
 
BUT! This is precisely what we want you to experience. As they are essentially reborn anew and know who they are in The Aviary, part of the fun is finding out who your characters were.
 
You see, a core premise of this experience is the inability to change one's past. But even if that's the case, you can still decide on how you behave in the present, which, in turn, will affect your future. Then, from here, you have the power to decide if you want to go back to who you were, or remain in your current life."
